Different definitions are given in this regard. Using an analytical and deductive method and referring to the verses of the Holy Quran, this paper explains the nature of progress and its main components. The question asked by this essay is: what sort of change can, according to the Qur'an be referred to as progress? The research findings indicate that in the view of the Qur'an, the progress of something or an aspect of it means that the thing is changed in such a way that the effects which we expect from its nature will be manifest itself and be compatible with the other components and parts which are related to it. This perception of progress has three pillars: rationality, spirituality, and justice. According to the Qur'anic view point, the realization of progress in each stage or area depends on the realization of these three concomitant pillars; thus, if development does not occur in all the three aforementioned pillars it will not be considered progress. یکی از پیش نیازهای تدوین الگوی اسلامی ایرانی پیشرفت، تعیین دقیق مفهوم «پیشرفت» در رویکرد اسلامی است. در این زمینه، تعریف های متفاوتی ارائه شده است. این مقاله با استفاده از روش «تحلیلی و استنباطی» و استمداد از آیات قرآن کریم، به تبیین ماهیت «پیشرفت»، ارکان و مقوّمات آن می پردازد. سؤال اصلی این است که در نگاه قرآنی، چه تحولی را می توان «پیشرفت» نامید؟ یافته های تحقیق بیانگر آن است که در نگاه قرآنی، پیشرفت یک شیء یا جنبه ای از آن بدین معناست که آن شیء به گونه ای متحول گردد که آثار متوقع از طبیعت آن نمایان شده و با سایر اجزا و بخش های مرتبط با او سازگار باشد. این مفهوم از «پیشرفت» دارای سه رکن «عقلانیت»، «معنویت» و «عدالت» است. در رویکرد قرآنی، تحقق پیشرفت در هر مرحله یا عرصه ای متوقف بر تحقق این سه رکن است؛ ارکانی که خود نیز با یکدیگر ملازمه دارند. از این رو، سیر تحولی را که در آن تمام ارکان سه گانه مزبور تحقق نیابد نمی توان پیشرفت دانست. https://marefateeqtesadi.nashriyat.ir/sites/marefateeqtesadi.nashriyat.ir/files/article-files/5_6.pdf
