This paper seeks to study the Lawson's view on the nature of socioeconomic reality, the nature of knowing to it, and identifying the methods that are suitable for evaluating the socioeconomic world. According to the presented analysis, based on Lawson's critical realism approach, the nature of social reality is such that it rejects mathematical tools and methods, and instead of the analogy and the inductive method, it uses the retroductive for the suitable economic analysis. The retroductive argument is a motion from the recognition of some existing phenomena at each level of reality towards the recognition of mechanisms at a deeper level than reality. Economics can succeed in explaining social reality by using the retroductive deduction method. The retroductive methodology itself derives from ontology based on critical realism, which, can be used in economic analysis in contrast to the deductive method of the conventional economics. According to the findings, reproductive can be used to formulate the theories of Islamic economics. هر نوع خاصی از هستی شناسی مستلزم روش شناسی ویژه است. هدف این مقاله بررسی دیدگاه لاوسون درباره‌ی ماهیت واقعیت اقتصادی- اجتماعی، ماهیت معرفت به آن و مشخص کردن روش هایی است که برای ارزیابی جهان اقتصادی - اجتماعی مناسب هستند. مطابق تحلیل صورت گرفته در این مقاله، با اتکا بر رهیافت رئالیسم انتقادی لاوسون، ماهیت واقعیت اجتماعی به گونه ای است که ابزار و روش ریاضی را برنمی تابد و به جای روش قیاس و روش استقرا استفاده از پس کاوی برای تحلیل های اقتصادی مناسب است. استدلال پس کاوانه عبارت است از حرکت از شناخت برخی پدیده های موجود در هر سطح از واقعیت به سمت شناخت مکانیسم ها در یک سطح عمیق تر از واقعیت. علم اقتصاد با استفاده از روش استنتاج پس کاوی، می تواند در تبیین واقعیات اجتماعی موفق باشد. روش شناسی پس کاوانه، خود از هستی شناسی مبتنی بر رئالیسم انتقادی نشئت می گیرد که در مقابل روش قیاسی اقتصاد متعارف می تواند در تحلیل اقتصادی به کار گرفته شود. بر اساس یافته های تحقیق از پس کاوی می توان در تدوین نظریات اقتصاد اسلامی بهره برد. https://marefateeqtesadi.nashriyat.ir/sites/marefateeqtesadi.nashriyat.ir/files/article-files/2_8.pdf
