The present paper, focusing on aforementioned element, investigates the distinction between interest-based financial institutions and participatory financial institutions in view of their revenue risk. The research hypothesis is that investor’s risk in interest loaning system is more than his/her risk in a profit and loss sharing system. To test this hypothesis, investors’ risk in participatory institutions and interest-based institutions has been analyzed, using simple variance method and Johnson’s inequation method and corollaries of Rothschild-Stieglitz model. The results show that investor’s risk in interest loaning system is more than his/her risk in a system based on participation in benefit and loss. More risk in interest loaning system means less stability, more distance form justice, less growth, and as a result, less efficiency and welfare. در کنار متغیّرهایی چون میزان درآمد و گستره‌ی زمانی آن، ریسک درآمدهای مؤسسه های مالی نقش مهمی در موفقیت و کارایی آنها دارد. در این مقاله، با تمرکز بر عنصر اخیر، به بررسی تمایز میان مؤسسه های مالی ربوی و مشارکتی از جهت ریسک درآمد ها می پردازیم. فرضیه‌ی ما آن است که در نظام وام دهی با بهره، ریسک سرمایه گذار بیشتر از نظام مشارکت در سود و زیان است. برای آزمون این فرضیه، ریسک سرمایه گذاران در مؤسسه های مشارکتی و ربوی با استفاده از روش واریانس ساده و روش نامعادله‌ی جنسن و نتایج فرعی قضیه‌ی روثچیلد – استیگلیتز مورد تحلیل قرار گرفته است. نتایج این بررسی نشان می دهد که در نظام وام دهی با بهره، ریسک سرمایه گذار بیشتر از نظام مشارکت در سود و زیان است. ریسک بیشتر در وام دهی با بهره به معنای ثبات کمتر، فاصله‌ی بیشتر با عدالت، رشد کمتر و در نتیجه کارایی و رفاه کمتر است. https://marefateeqtesadi.nashriyat.ir/sites/marefateeqtesadi.nashriyat.ir/files/article-files/3948.pdf
