It developed after the appearance of the negative effects of absolute economic development. There have been many research projects, reports, and conferences on this approach in the world. Since 1990, the United Nations has issued a series of annual reports on "human development in different countries in the world" in which the real conditions concerning different human questions are stated. Since the proposed criteria and indicators are based on secular and liberal anthropology and include only the material aspect which has to do with man's instinct, they cannot, in the view of Islam, be taken as a guideline to materialize an Islamic developed society. This paper elaborates on the question: what are the appropriate criteria and indicators of human development in Islam? In response to this question deep faith, piety, good deed, and means (i.e. the material ability for living) are proposed as realistic criteria and indicators of human development. To do so, the contents of transmitted and religious resources are analyzed and the foundations, principles and aims of development in Islam and the Islamic concept of human development are reviewed. جدیدترین و شاید مقبول ترین رویکرد در بحث های توسعه، رویکرد «توسعه انسانی» است که به دنبال بروز پیامد های منفی توسعه اقتصادی صرف پدید آمد. در راستای این رویکرد، تحقیقات، گزارش ها و گردهمایی های زیادی در سطح جهان ارائه شده است. در همین زمینه « سازمان ملل متحد» از سال 1990، هر ساله سلسله گزارش هایی درباره «توسعه انسانی کشور های جهان» منتشر می سازد که طی آن، درصدد آشکار سازی چهره کشور ها در زمینه مسائل مختلف انسانی است. از آنجا که معیار ها و شاخص های ارائه شده مبتنی بر انسان شناسی سکولاریسم و لیبرالیسم بوده و تنها بعد مادی مبتنی بر غریزه انسان را شامل می شود. از دیدگاه اسلام، نمی تواند ملاک عمل برای تحقق جامعه توسعه یافته اسلامی قرار گیرد. این مقاله با طرح این پرسش که معیار ها و شاخص های مناسب توسعه انسانی از دیدگاه اسلام کدام است؟ با استفاده از روش «تحلیل محتوای منابع نقلی و دینی» و با مراجعه به مبانی، اصول و اهداف توسعه در اسلام و مفهوم توسعه انسانی مورد نظر اسلام، به کشف معیار ها و شاخص های توسعه انسانی پرداخته است و معیار ها و شاخص های واقع بینانه ایمان، تقوا، عمل صالح و وسیله (امکانات مادی زندگی) را پیشنهاد می کند. https://marefateeqtesadi.nashriyat.ir/sites/marefateeqtesadi.nashriyat.ir/files/article-files/4844.pdf
