Given the ongoing debate over its monetary status and value, this study adopts an analytical approach based on the jurisprudential thought of Imam Khomeini(rh) and select philosophical views of Allameh Mesbah Yazdi to assess the legitimacy of Ether’s value (māliyyat). Understanding the legitimacy of Ether’s value requires a brief exposition of cryptocurrency pioneers’ ideas as well as a conceptual clarification of Ethereum and its infrastructure. According to the findings, māliyyat is a customary notion grounded in the rational concept of value. Allameh Mesbah Yazdi argues that human need for achieving objectives and an object’s capacity to help realize such ends constitute the basis of value. When supplemented with certain legal qualifiers, this notion evolves into legitimate māliyyat. Furthermore, Imam Khomeini’s jurisprudential principles—particularly regarding the sale of weapons to enemies of Islam—imply specific criteria for legitimate māliyyat. In light of Allameh Mesbah Yazdi’s perspective on value and Imam Khomeini’s jurisprudential foundations, the study concludes that Ether does not qualify for legitimate māliyyat. اتر که متعلق به شبکۀ جهانی اتریوم است، یکی از مهم‌ترین و پرکاربردترین رمزارزهای دنیای کریپتو است. با توجه به اختلافات موجود در زمینۀ مالیت و ارزش این رمزارز، مقاله حاضر با استفاده از روش تحلیلی و بر اساس اندیشۀ فقهی امام راحل و برخی از آرای علامه مصباح به بررسی مالیت اتر می‌پردازد. بررسی مالیت اتر مستلزم تبیین اجمالی اندیشه‌های رهبران فکری رمزارزها و تشریح مفاهیم اساسی اتریوم و ساختار آن است. بر اساس یافته‌های تحقیق، مالیت مفهومی عرفی است که بر پایۀ مفهومی عقلایی به نام ارزش شکل گرفته است. بر اساس نظر علامه مصباح یزدی، نیاز انسان برای نیل به اهداف خویش و توانایی کالا یا خدمت برای کمک به انسان برای دستیابی به هدف، ایجادکنندۀ معنای ارزش است. این معنا با افزودن قیودی توسط فقها به‌عنوان مالیت شرعی پذیرفته شده است. در همین راستا، مبانی فقهی امام راحل در زمینۀ مالیت شرعی خصوصاً ذیل عنوان فروش سلاح به دشمنان دین حاکی از شرایطی خاص برای آن است. با توجه به رویکرد علامه مصباح یزدی نسبت به ارزش و همچنین مبانی فقهی امام راحل در زمینۀ مالیت شرعی، نمی‌توان مالیت اتر را پذیرفت. https://marefateeqtesadi.nashriyat.ir/sites/marefateeqtesadi.nashriyat.ir/files/article-files/5001272-1753686162.pdf
