Emphasizing the foundations of Islamic economics, it highlights the necessity of moving beyond classical models toward the concept of "strategic advantage." The first part of the article examines the inefficiency of the traditional comparative advantage framework in environments affected by sanctions, geopolitical shocks, and structural constraints. Iran's experience over recent decades demonstrates that relying solely on comparative advantage has not led to sustainable development; rather, it has increased economic vulnerability and deepened dependence on imports of intermediate goods and advanced technologies. Accordingly, the article proposes strategic advantage as an alternative, grounded in principles such as technological self-sufficiency, human capital development, institutional resilience, social justice, and smart governance. Using a descriptive-analytical method and a comparative review of global experiences, the study argues that the traditional model of comparative advantage is no longer adequate for Iran’s current challenges. Therefore, a paradigm shift toward strategic advantage is essential for transitioning from a vulnerable, stagnant economy to one that is resilient, innovative, and sustainable—ultimately enabling Iran to secure a stable and competitive position in the global value chain. این مقاله با رویکردی تحلیلی-انتقادی به بازنگری نظریه مزیت نسبی در بستر اقتصاد ایران تحت تحریم می‌پردازد و با تأکید بر مبانی اقتصاد اسلامی، ضرورت عبور از الگوهای کلاسیک به‌سوی مفهوم «مزیت استراتژیک» را مطرح می‌کند. در بخش نخست مقاله، ناکارآمدی چارچوب سنتی مزیت نسبی در شرایط تحریم، شوک‌های ژئوپلیتیکی و محدودیت‌های ساختاری بررسی می‌شود. تجربه ایران در دهه‌های اخیر نشان داده که تکیه صرف بر مزیت نسبی نه‌تنها توسعه پایدار ایجاد نکرده، بلکه وابستگی به واردات و آسیب‌پذیری اقتصادی را افزایش داده است. بر این اساس، مقاله بر لزوم تغییر رویکرد به سمت مزیت استراتژیک تأکید می‌کند؛ رویکردی که بر اصولی چون خودکفایی فناورانه، تقویت سرمایه انسانی، تاب‌آوری نهادی، عدالت اجتماعی و حکمرانی هوشمند مبتنی است. مطالعه حاضر با استفاده از روش توصیفی–تحلیلی و مرور تطبیقی تجارب جهانی، نشان می‌دهد که مدل مزیت نسبی دیگر پاسخگوی چالش‌های خاص اقتصاد ایران نیست. بنابراین، تغییر پارادایم به سوی مزیت استراتژیک راهکاری ضروری برای دستیابی به اقتصادی مقاوم، نوآور و پایدار بوده و زمینه‌ساز نقش‌آفرینی مؤثر ایران در زنجیره ارزش جهانی خواهد بود.
