This issue has been raised in the Meccan and Madani verses of the Holy Quran. The aim of the present article is to investigate the financial resources and methods of combating poverty during the 10 years of the Prophet’s presence in Medina and based on the order of the Madani surahs. The article follows the content analysis method and uses library resources. The results of the article show that religious motivations, altruism, and hereafter played a very important role in achieving this goal. In addition to the popular resources mentioned in Surah Makki, and with regard to the conquests and the formation of the Bayt al-Mal, public resources such as fi’, zakat, zakat al-fitr, war booty and their khums, and lands of mufti’ al-anwhah and peace were also added to the financial resources for combating poverty. Although Surah Madani abandons zakat and sadaqat to combat poverty, spending is mostly used to cover the costs of jihad. The article shows that in the ninth year of the Hijra, zakat was transformed from an individual obligation to a state obligation and the Prophet sent representatives to collect and distribute it to different regions. اسلام به‌عنوان کامل‌ترین دین، مقابلة با فقر را در سر لوحة دستورات خود قرار داده است. این مهم در آیات مکی و مدنی قرآن مجید مطرح شده است. هدف مقالة حاضر تحقیق پیرامون منابع مالی و روش‌های مقابله با فقر طی 10 سال حضور پیامبر اعظم(ص) در مدینه و بر اساس ترتیب سوره‌های مدنی است. مقاله از روش تحلیل محتوا تبعیت و از منابع کتابخانه‌ای استفاده می‌کند. نتایج مقاله نشان می‌دهد که انگیزه‌های دینی و نوع‌دوستی و آخرت‌گرایی نقش بسیار زیادی در تحقق این هدف داشت. همچنین علاوه بر منابع مردمی مذکور در سور مکی و با توجه به فتوحات و شکل‌گیری بیت‌المال، منابع عمومی مثل فیئ، زکات، زکات فطره، غنائم جنگی و خمس آنها، زمین‌های مفتوحة‌العنوه و صلحی نیز به منابع مالی مقابلة با فقر اضافه گردیدند. گرچه در سور مدنی زکات و صدقات به مقابلة با فقر انصراف دارد، ولی انفاق بیشتر برای تأمین هزینه‌های جهاد به‌کار گرفته شده است. مقاله نشان می‌دهد که در سال نهم هجرت زکات از قالب واجب فردی به واجب حکومتی تبدیل شده و پیامبر(ص) نمایندگانی را برای جمع‌آوری و توزیع آن به مناطق مختلف فرستادند. https://marefateeqtesadi.nashriyat.ir/sites/marefateeqtesadi.nashriyat.ir/files/article-files/5003737-1788331809.pdf
