Although there have been many discussions about the nature of Islamic economics, no clear-cut answer is given to this question. The present paper makes further inquiry into the nature of the discipline of Islamic economics, classifying, examining, and criticizing the different approaches to defining the nature of Islamic economics. According to the classification, the approach to this discipline which the researchers of Islamic economics adopt are discussed in terms of subject, resource, end, and researcher. The research hypothesis is that cognition source – of course, full cognition sources represented in reason and the traditions according to Ayatollah Jawadi Amoli's interpretation- is a more rational and logical criterion for defining the identity of Islamic economics at this juncture. The author refers to the works about Islamic economics written in terms of aforementioned cognitive knowledge and introduces logical evidence in order to confirm the hypothesis. سؤال از چیستی و ماهیت اقتصاد اسلامی همواره از دغدغه های محققان اقتصاد اسلامی بوده است. گرچه در زمینه تبیین ماهیت اقتصاد اسلامی مباحث زیادی مطرح شده، هنوز ابهام هایی در این زمینه وجود دارد. در این مقاله برای بازخوانی مجدد ماهیت دانش اقتصاد اسلامی، به دسته بندی، بررسی و نقد رویکرد های مختلف در تعیین ماهیت اقتصاد اسلامی می پردازیم. بر اساس دسته بندی صورت گرفته در مقاله، رویکرد محققان اقتصاد اسلامی در مورد ماهیت این دانش را می توان بر مدار چهار مقوله موضوع ، منبع، غایت و پژوهشگر توضیح داد. فرضیه‌ی ما در این مقاله این است که ملاک منبع شناخت ـ البته منابع کامل شناخت یعنی عقل و نقل با تفسیر آیت الله جوادی آملی ـ ملاک منطقی تری برای هویت بخشی به دانش اقتصاد اسلامی در دوران معاصر است. برای اثبات این فرضیه، علاوه بر استدلال های منطقی به مجموعه ای از آثار مکتوب در قلمرو اقتصاد اسلامی که عملاً بر مبنای معرفت شناختی مذکور شکل گرفته استناد شده است. https://marefateeqtesadi.nashriyat.ir/sites/marefateeqtesadi.nashriyat.ir/files/article-files/2236.pdf
